Meet Sharon
Hello, my name is Sharon, and I love to play! I graduated from the University of Washington School of Occupational Therapy in 1998. Since then, I've enjoyed working with children of all ages from premature infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to teenagers preparing for transition to adulthood. I find great joy in helping children build skills for participation in everyday life!
As an Occupational Therapist, I draw from my advanced training in DIR/Floortime, Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), and sensory integration training through the STAR Institute. I also have extensive training in the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum, Zones of Regulation, and The Alert Program.
I have been married to my husband, Chris, for 22 years. We have three active teen-agers/young adult-kids who keep us on the move!
